Vesper Peak

Vesper Peak is located North of Seattle WA, in the Western-Central Cascade Mountains and is accessed via the Mountain Loop Highway. A formal trail goes part way to Headlee Pass then it is a scramble to the summit mostly on granite slab. It is a fun descent when snow is present - a great opportunity for glissading.

That white looking peak in the center of the photo is Vesper Peak. That is our destination. This picture was taken shortly after passing Headlee Pass

Headlee Pass

The main trail ends at Headlee Pass, then it's climber's trail all the way to Vesper, much of the travel is on solid granite slabs late in the season, or snowpack through much of the summer.
